Dylan came home today and very excitably told me he was the Helper of the Day. The things he told me he was able to do were take the lunch money to the office, be the line leader (b/c someone couldn't stand still), put Popsicle sticks somewhere, do the days and the weather, and watch the kids and answer questions while Mrs. Black (his teacher) took something to the office. I'm sure he was able to do others things and I don't know what do the days or weather means....but that's as much as I can get out of a 1st grader. I'm lucky he told me that much....usually I ask what did you do today and Dylan says......I forget.
I have a video of Dylan telling you about his day as Helper of the Day and things he likes about school, but I guess its too large to load on here. He is a funny kid! I guess I'll have to figure out to get it on here.....so maybe sometime soon.

Wait, he goes to Provost doesn't he?? I bet my VT partner is his teacher. She has that name and is teaching 1st grade this year -- how fun!!
