More about Branson, MI

So I got a little side track with the post about Branson.....started on the 25th and well....you know life gets in the way. Anyways, more about our trip to Branson. My gracious sister-in-law, Lori, got there before us and the choice of two rooms: one the main room and one on the second floor. I say gracious because the second floor bedroom had bed that was about 4 feet off the floor and she didn't think I would want to get up and down that bed all night long, so they took that room. Oh did I mention they also have a baby and is up in the middle of the night too and the stairs to go up and down to the bedroom are no fun. I'm sure she was wishing she picked the main floor bedroom by the end of the week. SO THANKS Lori for being selfless. It made my week so much easier!!!

We had lots of fun spending time with Dave's side of the family. I think Dylan loved all the room to run around in. Poor thing, our small apt is just not big enough sometimes (thank goodness we're moving....more on that later). Dave went golfing with the boys. We rented a ski boat one day and that was a lot of fun! Okay, I only rode on the raft once and didn't try the waterskiis or wakeboard....but I still had fun riding in the boat and watching everyone else be more daring that I am. We went to the community pool a couple days also. I think it was a lot more fun for the kids than going to the touristy waterpark that was packed and the price was just right! Can't beat $4.00 a person! We also got passes to drive in go-carts, play goonie golf and bumper boats. One night the adult kid couples were able to leave the grandkids with the grandparents and have a night on the town. I'm so grateful they did that for us because with a newborn I don't think we'll have many dates if any for a long while. So THANKS!!! We also had family pictures taken at the beginning of the week. Surprisingly, the grandkids were pretty well behaved and we got some good pictures.

I also have to add thanks to everybody that helped out with my family. There were often times I couldn't help keep track of Dylan or fix him breakfast, lunch or dinner because I was feeding our new little one. I know you guys weren't there to help watch my kids but you did help anyways. I am very grateful and I hope to return the favor some how in the future.

Sorry there isn't any pictures but I haven't downloaded my pictures yet and we're need to met up with Doug and Lori to get our copy of the cd with everybody's pictures that they took on it. So hopefully I'll be able to post some pictures soon.
